The Lazer Crat Center was transformed into the Shree Swaminarayan Hindu temple through a redesign by 3S. The temple encompasses various areas, including a prayer space, performance area, sant nivas, and a commercial kitchen area for the Banquet hall. With a total area of approximately 24,000 square feet, the project utilized the existing MEP service and underwent cost-effective modifications by 3S.
The primary objective of the project was to create a new space that could accommodate heavy foot traffic while ensuring optimal comfort for visitors. To achieve this, the HVAC design focused on performance-based energy compliance, allowing for improved human comfort. 3S MEP successfully accomplished this objective through the utilization of the HAP5.1 Comcheck software in conjunction with the existing HVAC system.
MEP undertook the responsibility of designing the electrical systems for the project. The electrical design included the creation of a comprehensive lighting layout and the development of a power layout to ensure appropriate illumination throughout the temple and meet the electrical requirements of the various areas within the temple. Furthermore, a fire alarm layout was meticulously designed to prioritize the safety and security of the temple and its occupants.
The plumbing design focused on designing efficient and functional systems for domestic water supply, sanitary waste management, and stormwater drainage. These systems were strategically implemented to meet the specific requirements of the temple and ensure a seamless and hygienic operation.
