The Yoga Center located at EL Pueblo, Arizona, underwent a transformation from a school to a specialized yoga facility. The project’s main goal was to design and implement efficient and effective Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems to cater to the new requirements of the yoga room, shower rooms, and auditorium.

One of the major challenges was designing the HVAC system for the hot yoga room. Precise temperature control was essential to maintain a specific heat level suitable for hot yoga practices. Integrated humidity sensing control fans were installed in the shower and pod rooms to ensure optimal humidity levels, enhancing the overall experience for the center’s visitors.

The existing ductwork and RTUs were retained and balanced as per the new ventilation demands, resulting in significant cost savings without compromising on air quality and comfort. For the auditorium, the team faced the challenge of utilizing the existing RTUs, while adhering to the updated ventilation requirements.

The electrical design included a comprehensive lighting layout to ensure ample illumination throughout the facility, creating a serene and welcoming ambiance. A power layout was carefully devised to cater to the specific electrical needs of the yoga center, taking into account the various equipment and lighting requirements.

The plumbing design encompassed both domestic water and sanitary systems, ensuring a seamless water supply and waste disposal. The team employed modern plumbing practices to guarantee the facility’s sanitation and convenience for the occupants.
