This project involved a two-story residential and church building, with 3S MEP + Structural providing mechanical and plumbing designs. The major challenge was getting a clear, accurate representation of room layouts, ceiling heights, and the location of voids and risers to guide equipment installations.
The mechanical team designed a ventilation system using a VRF heat pump. The team selected the VRF unit and determined the size of it based on calculations made using Mitsubishi DBS software. Mechanical designs met IMC 2015 standards.
The plumbing team designed cold-hot water and sanitary waste systems and selected the recirculation pump, water heater and other equipment.
With all 3S MEP projects, a primary focus is integrating MEP and structural designs with the construction and architectural partners and the end-users to minimize the need for design adjustments or revisions during the construction process. Design teams from 3S MEP actively engage with all stakeholders to identify potential conflicts and optimize overall system layout. Our teams are exceptionally proficient at harmonizing essential building elements for successful outcomes.
