3S MEP provided mechanical and plumbing design services for the two story multi-purpose building located at Libertyville, Illinois. The mechanical team designed the ventilation system as per IMC-2015. The VRF heat pump selection and sizing are done in Mitsubishi DBS software by the team. The plumbing team designed a domestic cold/hot water system and sanitary waste system. The team also performs a selection of the equipment such as water heater, recirculation pump, etc. A challenge during this project was ensuring a clear and accurate representation of essential areas for MEP installations in room layouts, ceiling heights, location of voids, and risers.
