This project in Fort Worth built a dental clinic from an existing building, and one requirement was that 3S MEP + Structural minimize architectural changes to the original structure.
The clinic included an operation theater, a lab, and a consulting office.
Our mechanical and plumbing teams collaborated closely with several partners to accomplish this goal. In its design work for ducting, placement of equipment, and water and sewer utilities, 3S MEP had to coordinate with several partners.
We designed an HVAC system using an AHC with a heat pump. The team also selected the economizer system and created the sequence of operations to control it. The system met IMC requirements.
The sanitary waste and water supply systems were engineered to IPC standards.
With all 3S MEP projects, a primary focus is integrating MEP and structural designs with the construction and architectural partners and the end-users to minimize the need for design adjustments or revisions during the construction process. Design teams from 3S MEP actively engage with all stakeholders to identify potential conflicts and optimize overall system layout. Our teams are exceptionally proficient at harmonizing essential building elements for successful outcomes.
