The project involved the conversion of an existing building into a Dog care hotel. 3S took charge of the redesign process, implementing a range of improvements and modifications to meet the specific requirements of the new functions. The project encompassed the replacement of mechanical ductwork with existing mechanical equipment while adhering to code compliance and local jurisdiction regulations. We successfully achieved this objective by utilizing the HAP 5.1 COMcheck software.
Electrical design included creating a comprehensive lighting layout, which involved the integration of existing and new lights with new control systems to meet the International Energy Conservation Codes (IECC) and National Electrical Code (NEC). Additionally, a power layout was developed to cater to the electrical needs of the spaces. The team developed a single-line diagram (SLD) to illustrate the electrical connections and distribution within the facility.
The plumbing design aspect of the project was entrusted to the expertise of the 3S MEP plumbing team. We are responsible for designing the domestic water supply, and sanitary waste management. The team ensured that the plumbing systems were efficient, reliable, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations. Furthermore, 3S MEP developed a gas piping diagram to facilitate the safe and sufficient distribution of gas within the building to each appliance to be catered.
