Blending aesthetics with functionality, HVAC ductwork and a diffuser system both had to coordinate with the ceiling lights in this project at Malabar Gold & Diamonds in Naperville.
The 3S MEP + Structural team designed a system that looked good and provided comfortable, safe, and efficient ventilation for store staff and customers, and it was built on the existing RTU.
Plumbing design included a sanitary waste, domestic cold/hot water system, water heater selection, and a schematic of the gas piping.
Electrical design provided a layout of lighting and power that considered both functionality and energy efficiency. The team conducted load calculations to determine the electrical demand and designed the electrical system accordingly.
We also developed a single-line diagram to illustrate the electrical connections and distribution within the facility.
With all 3S MEP projects, a primary focus is integrating MEP and structural designs with the construction and architectural partners and the end-users to minimize the need for design adjustments or revisions during the construction process. Design teams from 3S MEP actively engage with all stakeholders to identify potential conflicts and optimize overall system layout. Our teams are exceptionally proficient at harmonizing essential building elements for successful outcomes.
